Lira specializes in molecular cloning and enzymatic work. Using molecular tools, she makes DNA constructs to improve our enzyme platform. For our enzymatic work, she enjoys looking for new applications for our enzymes. Ever curious, she has recently specialized in microscopy, to examine starch in and ex situ and enjoys expanding her skill-set with further challenging projects.
